So sorry to read of Durward's passing. My time with him as a copatient at Belle Trace recently was short but we could listen to each other's complaint. So sad for his family who were so invested in his long productive life. My wife is also sending her condolences.

Sad to hear this news. But I know he is being met by a long line of family and friends who have missed his sense of humor and ability to make them smile. Durwood was a friend of my parents and I remember eating meals with Durwood and Janice and my folks over the years. He always had a positive countenance and made me smile.
Our prays for your family during this difficult time.

My fondest memories of Durward is from our younger years at Gross Grade school: our friendship endured the test
of tine. My last visit with Durward was at the "Old Country School Reunion" (fall of 2018).

RE 14:13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.

My heart is broken. Durward had a way of brightening my day every time I saw him. Always made me laugh. I will miss him.
