Obituary for Barbara D. Cain
Barbara Dell Cain, 76, of Bloomington, passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at Monroe Hospital. Barbara was born December 10, 1942 in Indianapolis, Indiana and was the daughter of the late Robert H. and Betty L. (Raney) Breden.
Barbara worked for 35 years at RCA until the plant closed. After the plant closed she attended Ivy Tech for a couple of years before working several more years at the IU School of Law. She was a member of the Eastern Star in Ellettsville and loved to bake and decorate cakes for weddings and birthdays.
Survivors include her sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and William “Bob” Koontz; niece, Pamela (Scott) Michael; nephew, Michael (Tracy) Koontz and great nephew Shawn Koontz.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation for Barbara will be Monday, August 5, 2019 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard.
Services will be at 12:00 pm on Monday at The Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Odon, Indiana.
