Obituary for Jared Nathaniel Hayes
Jared Nathaniel Hayes, 21, of Solsberry, passed from this life on Sunday, August 11, 2019 after an accident. He will live on through the gift of organ donation as only the second person in Monroe County and youngest in the State of Indiana to be a donor after cardiac death.
Jared was born September 8, 1997 in Bloomington and was the son of Delbert Hayes and Melissia (Mullis) Hayes. Jared was a manager at Kentucky Fried Chicken and was your typical outdoorsman, loving to fish, hunt, ride horses, shoot guns and watch racing.
Jared is survived by his mother, Melissia Hayes; father and step mother, Delbert Hayes and Kim Freeman; fiance`, Miranda Leite; maternal grandparents, Bob and Nancy Mullis; paternal grandfather, Jerry Wright; 4 brothers, Delbert Michael Hayes (Tiffany), Daniel Thomas Hayes (Emily), Travis Riley, and Jeremy Gauldin; sister, Ashley Graves, and his uncles, Josh Mullis, Roy Wright, Sonny Casee, and Ryder Wright along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Jared was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Drewella Wright, and uncle, Bobby Mullis.
Visitation for Jared will be on Friday from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard 3000 E. Third St. Bloomington.
Funeral Services will be at 12:00 pm on Friday at The Funeral Chapel with Pastor Marcus Schrader officiating.
In lieu of flowers donations may be given in Jared's memory to the Indiana Donor Network.
