Marlene Faith May, 63, of Bloomington, passed away Sunday, September 8, 2019 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
Born, July 25, 1956 in Bloomington, she was the daughter of David and Evelyn (Eads) Sherlock.
Marlene was a Rural Carrier for the United States Postal Service for 21 years.
She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Roger May, one daughter, Morgan Rediger (Joe), two sons, Greg May (Leigh), and Chad May (Sara), her father, David Sherlock, grandchildren, Kiara May, Kayley May, Emma May, Jayden May, Suzanna May, Cannon Rittenhouse, Callie Rediger, and Cora Rediger all of Bloomington, one brother, Nathan Sherlock (Larry), two sisters, Joy Terrell (Doug), and Jan Milbourn (Barry), and several nieces and nephews.
Marlene was preceded in death by her son, Christopher May, her mother, Evelyn Sherlock and her grandparents.
Visitation will be 4-8pm Friday, September 13, 2019 at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard, 3000 E. Third St. in Bloomington.
Funeral services will be 10:30am Saturday at The Funeral Chapel with Pastor Fred Stanger officiating. Burial will follow at Clear Creek Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105.
