Obituary for Paul Franklin Marrs

Paul Franklin Marrs, age 70, of Bloomington, Indiana passed away on Friday, October 25, 2019 at Roudebush VA Medical Center in Indianapolis. He was born on January 3, 1949 in Bloomington to Evert Leon and Betty Jean (Albertson) Marrs. Paul worked at Westinghouse and later ABB for several years. He served in the United States Army during the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, rock and arrowhead hunting, mushroom hunting, taxidermy, and he loved Mustangs, especially his Mustang Cobra. Paul loved the outdoors and spent a lot of time outdoors with his cousin, Mike Mitchner.
Paul is survived by his wife, Christine (Craig) Marrs, children, Alice Marrs, Amy Naugle (Michael), Scott Price (Rhonda), Jennifer Flores (Mario), William Marrs (Kendra), Joshua Marrs (fiancé Brittanie), Stella Marrs (Timmy), and Kalena Marrs (Chris), seventeen grandchildren, one great-grandchild on the way, and siblings, Kathy Chandler (Scott), Betty Adams, and David Marrs (Donna).
Paul was preceded in death by his daughter, Jessica “J.J.” Marrs, parents, grandpa, Everett Franklin, brothers-in-law, Kevin Skirvin and Don Adams, mother-in-law and father-in-law, Catherine and Pryor Craig, and sister-in-law, Stella.
Visitation for Paul will be from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Tuesday, October 29, 2019 and from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Wednesday at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, 3900 S. Snoddy Road Bloomington, Indiana.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Wednesday at the church with Pastor Richard Borden officiating. Burial will follow at Knightridge Cemetery in Bloomington.
