Joseph Rezits, 94, former professor of music at Indiana University passed away last Friday at Meadowood Health Pavilion. Born in New York state he moved to Bloomington in 1963 to teach at Indiana University School of Music while raising his family of two sons with his wife Roberta. Joseph was a professional pianist and traveled throughout the world performing,lecturing and teaching. He was adored by his students and touched many lives during his long career. He will be sorely missed. He is survived by his son’s David and Daniel and wife Norma Beversdorf-Rezits.

Graveside services for Joseph will be 2:30 pm Monday, November 18, 2019 at Valhalla Memory Gardens.
