Obituary for Ann Caplinger
Ann Caplinger, 59, of New Castle passed away peacefully Sunday, December 1, 2019 at Simon Cancer Center in Indianapolis.
Born, February 28, 1960 in Park Forrest, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Weldon and Donna (Boso) Caplinger.
Ann was a beloved mother, aunt and friend to many. She could light up a room with her smile and always had the sweetest voice with a loving touch.
She was strong, and battled multiple myeloma for many years. Not once did you hear her complain of pain and she never seemed down. Still, always wanting to take care of others never blinking twice whether friend or stranger. Ann always kept a big smile and a laugh that would make you laugh and smile.
Survivors include one daughter, Morgan Bradley of Columbus, companion, Kent Benson of New Castle, and two brothers, Jeff Caplinger of Florida, and John Caplinger (Kristen) of Sylva, N.C.
Ann was preceded in death her son, Kelly Bradley II, and brother, Gary Caplinger.
Visitation will be 10am-12pm Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard, 3000 E. Third St. Bloomington, IN 47401.
A graveside service will be 12:30pm Tuesday at Clear Creek Cemetery in Bloomington.
