Martha L. Calabrese, 85, of Harrodsburg passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, Saturday, March 28, 2020 at IU Health Hospice House.
Born, March 28, 1935 in Harrodsburg, she was the daughter of the late Cloudy and Ruth (Whitaker) Hatfield.
Martha was the Co-Owner and Operator of Ralph’s T Mart, and she was also employed at Mr. D’s in Bloomington.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed gardening and being outdoors.
Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Ralph Calabrese, two sons, Greg Calabrese (Susan), and Jeff Calabrese (Becky), grandchildren, Chris, Josh, Anthony, and Angela Calabrese, great-grandchildren, Alexia Renn, Makenna, Aliza, Gavin, Adrienne and Layla Calabrese, sisters, Clarissa Hawk (Charles), Mary Lou Trisler (John), Nancy Smith (Dennis) and Connie Van Treese (David), and brother, Joe Hatfield.
She was preceded in death by siblings, Louis Hatfield, Sue Hearth and Becky Meadows.
Martha’s request was for there to be no services.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to IU Health Hospice House 2810 S. Deborah Dr. Bloomington, IN 47403.
