Martha M. (Harris) Krise, age 88, of Bloomington, Indiana passed away on Monday, April 13, 2020 at
Garden Villa in Bloomington. She was born on August 22, 1931 in Chandler, Oklahoma to Alfred R. and
Onda M. (Duncan) Harris. Martha worked for RR Donnelley in Crawfordsville, Indiana for over 40 years.
Martha was active in her community and was a member of New Hope Christian Church. She loved to
travel and spent time in Europe and across the US in an RV with her husband Gail. She loved living on
the farm in later years and was devoted to her family, friends and living a full life till she was sidelined by
a stroke in 2010.
Martha is survived by her son Douglas G. Krise (Patty), grandchildren Jason, Patrick Walden (DayeAnn),
and Laura McGee (Tommy), great grandchildren Addison and Case Krise, Jubilee, Gus, and Zeke Walden,
Quinn McGee; other family members include family in Michigan, Nevada, Colorado and California.
Martha was preceded in death by her husband, Gail H. Krise, formerly of Veedersburg and
Crawfordsville, Indiana daughter, Rebecca Elaine Walden of Crawfordsville, Indiana and Schoolcraft,
Michigan, her parents Alfred and Onda Harris of Veddersburg, Indiana and a sister Joan Rogers of
Veddersburg Indiana.
There will be no services at this time for Martha. A memorial service will be planned when possible.
