Obituary for Esther Louise Fenton (Crews)

Esther Louise Fenton, 91, Bloomington, Indiana went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 9, 2020. Louise was born March 13, 1929 in English, Indiana, the daughter of David Martin and Maude (King) Crews. Louise was a retired EEG Technician at Bloomington Hospital, and a member of Southern Hills Church of Christ.
Louise was a faithful servant of our Lord Jesus Christ and led by example to all she encountered. She loved her family dearly and was always there for each one. She taught what it meant to be a light in this world through her selfless giving and dedication . She willingly gave her time and resources to help those in need even when it didn't seem she could. Her loss is deeply felt by her family, church, friends and staff at Gentry Park. She will be fondly remembered and deeply loved always.
Louise is survived by her children, Janet (Gregg) Floyd of Bloomington, Indiana, John (Monica) Fenton of Atlantic Beach, Florida and Martha (Jeff) Minett of Sarasota, Florida; nine grandchildren, Angela (Eric) Chambers, Sara (EJ) Fischer, Nathan (Mandy) Floyd, Jennifer (Ryan) Taylor, Amy (Andy) Deremiah, Rebecca (Jeremiah) Schroeder, Sam (Brittany) Smith, Hannah (Jeremy) Christopher, Kate (Matt) Service and Carrie Fenton; twenty-five great grandchildren.
Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Edward “Bob” Fenton; two sisters, Fern Jones and Mary Bernhardt; one brother, Charles Crews and one grandson, Joseph Edward Fenton.
In the words of her husband, If God is going to hear anyone it's going to be your grandmother. She is the kindness person I've ever met. She is so gentle and forgiving. She's a great woman.
Private Family Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard. The funeral service will be live streamed on The Funeral Chapel Facebook page at 11 a.m. Wednesday. Brother Pat Arthur will officiate. There will be no public visitation. Private burial will follow at Valhalla Memory Gardens.
