Martha L. Lockhart, 95, of Bloomington, passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2020 at Gentry Park. Martha was born October 30, 1924 and was the daughter of the late John and Nellie (Brown) Brummett.

Martha was a 1942 graduate of Bloomington High School and then worked as a Telephone Operator at Camp Atterbury and then in Engineering, all part of a 28 year career with Indiana Bell. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America and Northside Christian Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Linda M. Flinn (Charlie); and son, Gary Lockhart (Gina); grandchildren, Marlene (Rob), Scott (Kristi), Katy (Eric), and Kelly; great grandchildren, Cameron (Shelby), Cole, Payton, A.J., Jake, Rylan, Talia, Jamison, and Max; and great great grandchildren, Lex and Nash.

Martha was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years Maril M. Lockhart in 2008; sister, Judith A. (Brummett) Gatliff; brothers, James “Bud” Brummett, and Richard Brummett and her parents.

A private graveside service will be held at Valhalla Memory Gardens.
