In June of 1968 I went to work at IU Hall Of Residence .That is the day I met Art and started a friendship that lasted thru all the good and bad times that 40 plus years working together can bring. He was the kind of a man that would be there for you in any kind of a situation. A true friend that walked in when everyone else walked out. Thanks for the many times you helped me, made me laugh, talked and listen and gave me advise, and helped me become the man I am today. Enjoy your time in heaven with family and friends. You earned it here on earth.

So sorry to hear of Art’s passing. He was a good man and a good friend. I enjoyed working with and being around him for many years at IU. Art was one of those people who would do anything to help anybody.

My dad, Melvin Eads aka "Crowbar," worked at Halls with Art. They enjoyed each other. I worked there off and on a few summers and part time, too. Sorry for your loss.
