Obituary for Wesley W. Billingsley

Wesley W. Billingsley, 82, of Bloomington went to be with his Lord and Savior Saturday, June 6, 2020 at his residence.
Born, June 4, 1938 in Sailor Springs, Illinois, he was the son of the late Walter and Muriel (Badgley) Billingsley.
Wesley was a loving husband, father and grandfather who was an automobile enthusiast, mechanic, auto body man who could fix anything.
He was a United States Air Force Veteran serving in the Korean War.
Wesley was a member of the Clear Creek Christian Church. He was so proud of being baptized by his grandson Maveric in August 2016. Wesley, Makenzi, and Maveric were all baptized at the Fairfax Beach on Monroe Lake. They were surrounded by their loving family.
Survivors include his wife, Brenda Jane (Crum) Billingsley, one son, Larry Billingsley (Lori), three daughters, Laura Billingsley, Tamera Pauli (Mark), and Heidi Dike (Jubal), grandchildren, Haley, Presley, Isabel, Violet, Greyson, Harrison, Andrew, Ashlei, Olivia, Silas, Ezra, Atticus, Makenzi, Maveric, and Easton, and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Ann (Gates) Billingsley, brother, Gleason Billingsley, sister, Nita Davis, and three sons, Robert Billingsley, Matthew and John Deckard.
Graveside services will be 11:00am Thursday, June 11, 2020 at Clover Hill Cemetery, with David Lee officiating. The Monroe County Veterans Honor Guard will perform military rites.
The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard is handling arrangements.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Clear Creek Christian Church.
