Lois L. Prince, age 83, of Bedford, Indiana passed away at IU Health Bedford Medical Center on Wednesday, July 8, 2020. She was born on August 1, 1936 in Monroe County, Indiana to Oscar and Edith (Sipes) Hawkins. Lois married Floyd Prince in 1957. She was a homemaker, and she loved helping her neighbors and planting gardens. She enjoyed singing, cleaning, and watching gospel channels.
Lois is survived by her sons, Tim Prince, Tony Prince, Tom Prince, and Ted Prince, one daughter, Kathy Lawmaster, several granddaughters, Trista LuAllen, Amber Godsey, Nicki Baker, Erica Daugherty, Brandi Chase, and two grandsons, Shan Howe and Chad Prince.
Lois was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Prince, granddaughter, Mandi Prince, and brothers, Loyd Deckard, Thurman Deckard, and Cecil Deckard.
Visitation for Lois will be from noon until 2:00 PM on Monday, July 13, 2020 at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard, 3000 E. Third Street Bloomington.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Monday with burial to follow at Clover Hill Cemetery in Harrodsburg.
