Obituary for Satish Kadeem Brown
Satish Kadeem Brown, age 29, of Bloomington, Indiana passed away on Monday, July 13, 2020. He was born in Phoenix, Arizona on June 16, 1991 to Satish Reese and Kimberly Brown. Satish enjoyed skateboarding from an early age. He was a talented artist who enjoyed painting and drawing. He also enjoyed swimming, soccer, track and field and music. He played the cello and violin. Satish was an avid reader. He grew up in Bloomington, Indiana where he attended elementary, middle school and high school. He also attended high school in La Quinta, California.
Satish is survived by his son, Satish Lewlyn Brown, father, Satish Reese (Julie), mother, Kimberly Brown (Wesley), Andrew Brown, brother, Xavier Brown, sisters, Imani Brown, Cicily, Chelsea, Jada, and Sadie Reese, grandparents, Mattie Moreland and Yusef Komunyakaa, aunts, uncles, many cousins and a host of family and friends. Satish also leaves behind a partner, Shyanne Williams and her son’s Zander and Nyjah Casillas.
Satish was preceded in death by his grandparents Elaine Hunter Reese and Benson Reese and the mother of his children, Chelsie Rogers- Turnipseed and their daughter Ola.
Visitation for Satish will be from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Saturday, July 18, 2020 at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard, 3000 E. Third Street Bloomington, Indiana.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM on Saturday at The Funeral Chapel.
Burial will be at West Lawn Memorial Park in Racine, Wisconsin.
