Obituary for Lance L. Wright
Lance Lamont Wright, 72, of Bloomington, Indiana went to live with his hero Jesus on Sunday, August 16, 2020 with his adoring wife Trish holding him close.
Lance was a Marine Corps Veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of the American Legion Burton Woolery Post 18 and the Moose. Lance was also a member of Great Harvest Ministry.
Lance was Trish’s music man. He loved life and spending time with his family and his many friends.
Lance is survived by his wife of over 45 years, Patricia (Trish) Wright, daughters Gail Corlette and Joya Kelly (Steve), Sister Leslie Snyder (Joe), grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Lance is preceded in death by his father Leonard Wright, mother Lois Baker, Sister Linda Smith and son Lance (Monty) Lamont Wright, Jr., stepson Danny J. Corlette.
Visitation for Lance will be on Friday, August 21, 2020 from 11 am until 1 pm at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard.
Graveside services for Lance will be 2 pm on Friday at Valhalla Memory Gardens with Pastor Tony Taylor officiating. The Monroe County Veteran’s Honor Guard will have military rites.
