Fredrick “Glen” Baxter, 82, of Bloomington, passed away Sunday, August 30, 2020 at his residence.
Born February 9, 1938 in Lawrence County, he was the son of Fred Warren Baxter and Nelly Pearl (Stewart) Allender.
He married Donna Morgan on December 17, 1999 and she survives.
Glen retired from Westinghouse/ABB in the electrical department in 1995. He attended South Union Christian Church. Glen enjoyed coloring books, drag racing, cruises, vacations, and going to auctions.
Survivors include his wife, Donna; daughter Gwen Seitz (Randy Heaton); step-son; Steve Fiscus (Betty); step-daughter, Valerie Lewis (Tim); 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; 10 step-grandchildren; 15 step-great grandchildren and one step-great great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents; step-son, Toby Fiscus; granddaughter, Sommer Isom and one brother Duane Baxter.
Visitation will be from 4-8 P.M. on Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, September 3, 2020 at The Funeral Chapel with Jimmy Cain officiating. Burial will follow in Valhalla Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children.
