Obituary for Betty Lou Duke

Betty Lou Duke, 85, of Bloomington passed away Sunday, October 4, 2020 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
Born, June 1, 1935 in Monroe County, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Lily (White) Johnson.
Betty was a very loving person who was full of life and a mother to many. She loved her family, gardening, watching her hummingbirds and IU Basketball. She was always happy to see anyone and always made sure they never left hungry. She loved her grandkids and all her family. She will be dearly missed.
Betty was a member of the Knightridge Pentecostal Church.
Survivors include her husband of 68 years, Harvey Duke, one daughter, Lana Wykoff (Danny Krebbs), two sons, Greg Duke (Joy Stannard), and Scotty Duke (Corina) all of Bloomington, three grandchildren, Jenny Duke (Chris Carson) of Nashville TN; Toby Arthur (Kayla), and Heather Cain (Jarrod) all of Bloomington, great-grandchildren, Brayton Arthur, Dylan Sullivan, Taylor Sullivan, Madelyn Schroeder, Hadlee Cain, and Gracie Duke-Carson, and two great great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her grandson, Josh Duke.
Visitation will be 4-8pm Wednesday at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard, 3000 E. Third St. in Bloomington.
Funeral services will be 1:30pm Thursday at The Funeral Chapel with Brother Bruce Kelly officiating. Burial will follow at Knightridge Cemetery.
