Mary Catherine (Bastin) Henry, 85, of Bloomington passed away on Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at Garden Villa Nursing Home. Mary was born November 12, 1934 in Morgan County, Indiana and was the daughter of the late Paul and Thelma (Utterback) Bastin.
Mary married Gaylord Henry on May26, 1953. They had 3 children, Martha, Carol and Daniel.
Mary loved talking to people about the Lord, she enjoyed Birdsong Studios, hiking, oil painting and loved her flower garden and all the beautiful colors that she would grow.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Paul and Thelma Bastin, her daughter Martha and son-in-law Willard Baker and several brothers and sisters.
Mary is survived by her husband Gaylord, daughter Carol, Son Daniel and daughter-in-law Debbie, 5 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
Services for Mary will be 1:00 pm Monday, October 19, 2020 at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard 3000 E. Third St. Bloomington. Pastors Don English and Roy McRoberts will officiate the service with burial to follow at Whitehall Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11:00 am until service time on Monday at The Funeral Chapel.
Pallbearers for Mary will be Daniel Henry, Philip Lentz, Deanna Dwyer, Dasha Lentz, Andrew Dwyer and Willard Baker.
