Tyler Quinton Karnes, 27, of Bloomington passed away on Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at his residence. Tyler was born January 8, 1993 in Bloomington and was the son of Gregory Quinton Karnes and Diane (Stewart) Karnes.
His passions were enjoying time with family and friends, spending time at the lakehouse, hunting, fishing, camping and boating on Lake Monroe. He deeply loved his family, and was a loyal and trusted friend to all who knew him. Tyler attended Soul’s Matter Apostolic Church.
Survivors include his mother, Diane Karnes; sister, Ashley Karnes Karshen; brother, Josh Karnes; grandparents, Wilma and Harold Stewart; aunt and uncle, Debbie and David Landrum; uncles, David Stewart, Dan Stewart and George Karnes; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Tyler was preceded in death by his father, Gregory Quinton Karnes, grandmother, Merle B. Karnes, aunt, Lori Huntley Stewart and cousin Michelle Stewart.
Services for Tyler will be 10:00 am Thursday, October 22, 2020 at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard.
Visitation will be from 4-8 pm on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at The Funeral Chapel.
