James Michael Deckard

James Michael Deckard, 78, of Brazil, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at The Gibson Family Center in Terre Haute.
Born June 17, 1942 in Bloomington, he was the son of Otis Forrest Deckard and Flora Pearl (Wilson) Deckard.
James was a cement finisher for Operative Plasterers and Masons Local #75 in Terre Haute. James liked to hunt, fish, woodworking projects and loved spending time with family and friends.
Surviving are his son, Ron (Vickie) Wolfe; two brothers, Joe and Jerry Deckard; one sister, Sue Burch; two grandchildren, Zachary and Gary Wolfe; as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Jimmy Deckard; brother, Gene Deckard; three sisters, Shirley Eads, Stella Montgomery, and Sharon Casey.
A graveside service will be held at Clear Creek Cemetery at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, November 20, 2020.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Cancer Society in memory of James.
