Shirley was a lifeline for our small family business for over 30 yrs. She did business, as life, the old-fashioned people way. Always gracious. Really a life well lived. Our thoughts at your personal family loss. Dennis and Joan Mayfield

My most sincere condolences to the Watkins family. Over these many years of talking with Shirley, she always had a friendly welcome, a genuine smile and good advice. She was upbeat, kind and happy, a grand lady indeed. I will miss talking with her. Godspeed Shirley.

I was sad to learn of Shirley's passing. I have always appreciated her affable nature, her dry wit, and her sense of humor. I will truly miss seeing her again.

Our sincere condolences to you all. Shirley and Fred before her have been our long time accountants. Shirley was a kind, gentle, competent, and thoughtful person and our contact with her always brought us a sense of calm and "all's well with the world," even when it wasn't quite ok. May Shirley's memory always be a blessing to those who loved and knew her. With deep respect and regret for her passing, Richard Balaban and Julie Bloom

I knew Shirley through her dedicated service as treasurer of our neighborhood board, and for friendly waves as we passed each other in the neighborhood. Her generous spirit made our neighborhood - and world - a better place. My sincere condolences to Shirley's family. -- Ruth Aydt
