Obituary for Jack F. Walcott

Jack F. Walcott, 88 of Center Hill, Florida (formerly Bloomington, IN) went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 13, 2020 at 8:15 pm at Baldomero Lopez Veterans Nursing Home. Jack was born June 24, 1932 in Wayne Co, KY, the son of Shoff and Gladys (Ragan) Walcott.
Jack was a local builder and roofing contractor until he moved to Florida in 2014. He rode motorcycles in his early years and loved antique cars. Jack served his country in The United States Army during the Korean War. He served on the Van Buren Water Board for several years. He was a member of Lifeway Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Ruth Ann (Newport) Walcott; three sons, Michael (Lissa) Walcott, Mark (Chris) Walcott and Kevin (Ronita) Walcott, one daughter, Debra (Steve) Merry; Grandchildren – Lance, Steven, Travis, David, Grant, Kady and Sage Walcott; Great Grandchildren – Gavin, Aiden, Livia, Vivian and Iain Walcott; two brothers, Rex (Jenni) Walcott, Frank (Charlotte) Walcott, two sisters, Marie (Jerry) Abram and Irene (Phillip) Walker. Brother-in-law, Phillip Thompson. Many nieces and nephews also survive.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four sisters, Mary Lee May, June Bingham, Margaret Greigo and Linda Thompson.
Visitation will be Saturday, November 21st, from 10:00am – 12:00pm at Lifeway Baptist Church, 7821 State Rd 46 Ellettsville, IN.
Services will be at 12:00 noon immediately following visitation, at Lifeway Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Valhalla Memory Gardens.
Pastor Steve Von Bokern will be officiating.
