Obituary for R. Duane Hardwick

R. Duane Hardwick, 65, of Indianapolis passed away Saturday, December 12, 2020 at his residence.
Born, December 26, 1954 in Bedford, he was the son of the late Robert and Lois (Hawkins) Hardwick.
Duane was a salesman at Beaver Materials in Noblesville for 16 years.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother who enjoyed golfing, attending and watching I.U. Basketball, and spending time on his favorite beach, Siesta Key, FL.
Duane also enjoyed refereeing junior high, high school and A.A.U. basketball games.
Survivors include his wife, Tara, Lynn (Woods) of Indianapolis, one daughter, Maggie Rimroth (Michael) of Harrison, OH; three sons, Joshua Hardwick (Barb Hun) of West Chester, OH; Andrew Hardwick (Ashley) of Harrison, OH; and Benjamin Hardwick of Fineytown, OH; one brother, Phillip Hardwick (Joyce) of Indianapolis, two step-sons, Dustin Pierson (Kendra) of Indianapolis, and Zachary Pierson (Melissa) of Freedom, WI; grandchildren, Addison and Skylar Rimroth, and Mason and Lincoln Hardwick, step-grandchildren, Cash, Hazel, and Millie Pierson, and several nephews.
Duane was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Taylor LeeAnn Rimroth.
The family will receive friends 12-2pm Saturday, December 19, 2020 at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard in Bloomington. A private family service will follow, and you are invited to join on The Funeral Chapel Facebook Page.
