Obituary for Joan Carmichael
Joan Maxine Carmichael, 82, of Bloomington, passed away Thursday, December 17, 2020 at Owen Valley Health Campus.
Born January 22, 1938 in Bloomington, she was the daughter of Ola and Mattie (Davis) Isom.
She graduated from Bloomington High School in 1956. Joan retired after a long career in banking with First National Bank in Bloomington, Bank One, and later Chase Bank. Joan liked oil painting and traveling with friends. She loved all animals, especially her pets. She attended Free Methodist Church.
Survivors include her two sons, Gregory Scott Carmichael and Jeffrey Allen Carmichael; daughter, Julie (Carmichael) Bonello; brothers, George Isom and Otis Isom; seven grandchildren, Ashley and Laurin Carmichael, Emily, Sarah, Noah, Claire, and Kate Bonello as well as several nieces and nephews.
Joan was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Paul Isom and Irvin Isom; two sisters, Iva (Isom) Marrs and Virginia (Isom) Vanderburg.
