Obituary for Norma Mae McClary
Norma Mae McClary, 89, of Unionville went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at IU Health Bloomington Hospital.
Norma was born March 21, 1931 in Monroe County and was the daughter of the late David Leonard and Dorothy Golden (Scott) Lincicome. She was a 1949 graduate of Unionville High School and married Donald McClary in 1950. She was a 60 year member of Bridge Church of Christ where she was baptized in 1961. She was an exceptional wife, mother, and grandmother and was a wonderful cook like her mother. She loved taking care of Don and watching their grandchildren. Norma worked as an Inspector at Sarkes Tarzian for 33 years.
Survivors include her husband of 70 years, Donald McClary; two sons, Michael (Connie) McClary, and Ronald (Sandra) McClary; daughter, Kathy Underwood 7 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren along with her sister-in-law, Norma Fleener; and brother-in-law, Tom McClary.
Norma was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Rosemary Skirvin; and two brothers, Eugene Lincicome and Don Lincicome.
Visitation for Norma will be on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 from 11 am until 1 pm at Bridge Church of Christ, 6996 N. Tunnel Road Unionville.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions Norma’s funeral will be Private at the church followed by burial at Bridge Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers contributions can be made in Norma’s memory to Bridge Church of Christ and can be mailed to 3401 W. Reba Ave. Bloomington, IN 47403.
