Kenneth “Kenny” Dale Hall, 75, of Ellettsville passed away on Tuesday, February 9th, 2021 at IU Health Bloomington Hospital. Kenny was born May 7th, 1945 in Sidney, Ohio and was the son of Charles L. and Rosalee (Powell) Hall. He served in the United States Army from 1962 until 1967 and was a proud Vietnam veteran. He retired from General Electric after 33 years of service. He then worked for the Department of Natural Resources as a campground gate attendant at Payne Town for 17 years. During his time with the DNR, he thoroughly enjoyed all the people that he met, and many became dear friends. He spoke often of his South Dakota buffalo hunting trips. He was an avid deer hunter, fisherman, camper, boater, and loved traveling throughout the United States and Canada.

He was a loving husband, brother, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He married Fay (Snider) and they celebrated 53 years together on February 7th. He is survived by his wife, Fay; sister, Jo Ann Huff; brothers, Michael Ray and Dennis Duane; son, Jonathan Wayne (Laura); daughters Emma Jean and Aimee Renee Welch (Tony); stepdaughters, Evelyn Starlene Hall, Jacqueline Babette Hall, and Wanda Fawn Holsapple (Ricky); grandchildren, Rebecca Sparks-Brown (Brad), James Sparks, Amanda Lavender (Brady), Candice Welch, Kenneth Welch, and William Hall; and six great-grand sons and five great-granddaughters.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father; brothers Jacob Eugene, Darrell Lee, and Ronald Dean; and stepson, Clifford Lee.

Visitation for Kenny will be held on Friday, February 12th, 12pm-2pm, at The Funeral Chapel, 3000 E. Third Street, Bloomington, Indiana. The Veteran’s Honor Guard will have the twenty-one-gun salute immediately following.
