Kelli J. Wilkes, 57, of Bloomington passed away on Friday, February 19, 2021 at her residence. Kelli was born July 10, 1963 in Bloomington and was the daughter of the late Norman Gonterman and Barbara J. (Higgins) Gonterman Gross.
Kelli was a 1981 graduate of Bloomington High School North and was a buyer for Organized Living. She was a 10 year 4-H member and was also a volunteer leader. She and her daughter showed Rabbits and Sheep and they were members of the American Rabbit Breeders Association. They have shown rabbits locally and nationally. She was a member of the American Legion and loved to fish, garden and sit around the fire. Kelli will be remembered by her family and friends as an amazing person, wonder woman, with a beautiful smile and was beautiful inside and out. She was always so kind to everyone she met and always greeted them with a friendly face. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her grandson Levi.
Kelli is survived by her daughter, Rolissa Wilkes and fiance’ Jake Morton; grandson, Levi Morton; sister Lori Finch and her husband Don, along with several cousins.
Kelli was preceded in death by her parents.
A Celebration of Kelli’s life will be held later in the year when it is safe to gather.
