Scott Allen Goble, 59, of Bloomington, passed away on February 22, 2021 of natural causes. Scott was born on August 16, 1961 in Bloomington. He was the son of Wayne and Betty Goble (Liford).
He is survived by his loving wife, Kim (Sales), of 36 years, mother, sons Tyler Goble (Emily) and Kyle Goble (Kayla), and four grandchildren (Alexis, Addison, Arloe, and Jackson). There are no words for how much and the way in which he loved his grand babies.
Scott was preceded in death by his father and grandparents.
Scott graduated from Bloomington North High School in 1979. He was hard working, hard headed, boisterous, passionate, and loved a good 4th of July fireworks show. He was a carpenter and knew nothing but perfection when it came to his trades. He has coached young wrestlers for over 25 years, most recently at Jackson Creek Middle School. As the saying goes, “It’s All A State Of Mind”. The lessons he taught in and out of the room have impacted more lives than we can imagine. A devoted Molly Hatchett fan, “Dreams I’ll Never See” has been his ringtone since music ringtones began. He liked watching sporting events and old movies while relaxing in his beloved chair. He especially enjoyed going for long Jeep rides with his Best Friend and talking about their life together. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and love him.
Visitation will be held Friday, February 26, 2021 at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard, 3000 E. Third Street Bloomington, Indiana from 4-8 p.m.
Funeral services will be private due to COVID restrictions, but may be viewed through The Funeral Chapel Facebook page on Saturday, February 27, 2021 starting at 10:55 a.m. Scott’s lifelong friend, Billy Carney, will officiate. Entombment will follow at Valhalla Memory Gardens.
