Lorna (Durnal) Hopwood, age 57, of North Vernon, Indiana passed away at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana in Columbus, Indiana on Monday, March 8, 2021. She was born in Bloomington, Indiana to Loren and Audrey (West) Durnal on January 29, 1964. Lorna enjoyed traveling, southern gospel music, and she loved her dogs dearly. She received her Master’s Degree in Psychology. Lorna attended Bridge Church of Christ and Belmont Church of Christ.
Lorna is survived by her husband, Russell Hopwood, son, Tim Hopwood (Leedjia Svec), daughter, Lisa Hopwood, father, Loren Durnal, brother, Roy Joe Durnal, and sister, Diana Kent.
Lorna was preceded in death by her mother, Audrey Durnal.
Graveside services will be at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at Bridge Church of Christ Cemetery in Unionville.
