Connie S. Bastin, age 74, of Bloomington, Indiana passed away peacefully in Bloomington on Saturday, March 27, 2021. She was born on March 11, 1947 in Bloomington to Kenneth and Wilma (Frye) Raper. Connie enjoyed sewing, especially quilting, baking, and spending time with her grandkids. She was independent, a story teller, and loved a good sense of humor. She believed that a good laugh could make everything better. She will be missed dearly. Connie received a Bachelor’s Degree from Indiana University as a Registered Nurse.
Connie is survived by her daughters, Tiffany Bork (Jon) and Cory Hardin (Kedrick), son, Brett Bastin (Tonya), grandchildren, Hunter and Tyler Bork, Kole, Kraig, Kooper, and Kaleb Hardin and Taylor Bastin, brothers, Mark and Steve Raper, and longtime companion, Roger Allen.
Connie was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard, 3000 E. Third Street Bloomington, Indiana.
Funeral services will be private due to Covid-19 restrictions, but may be viewed on The Funeral Chapel Facebook page beginning at 12:55 PM.
