Obituary for Janice Ruth White
Janice Ruth White, 83, of Bloomington, passed away on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at IU Health Bloomington Hospital.
Born August 19, 1937 in Bloomington, she was the daughter of James Walter and Emma (Honeycutt) Egan.
She married Lloyd Leon White and he preceded her in death on July 4, 1984.
Janice loved bird watching, reading the bible, listening to gospel music and spending time with her family. She was of the Pentecostal faith.
Survivors include her two sons, Michael Leon (Karen) White, Jeffrey Lee White; two daughters, Vicky Lynn (Allen) Jackson, Pamela Kay White; grandchildren, David, Alesia, Graison, Misty Gail, Katie, Kourtney, Lacey, Michelle; one sister, Doris Copple; as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a grandson, Alex Jackson; sisters, Helen Pemberton, Eunice Pemberton, Norma Phillips, Sara Newton; brothers, Virgil “Bud” Egan and Eugene Egan.
Visitation will be 11-1pm on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at Knightridge Pentecostal Church, 3775 S. Knightridge Rd, Bloomington, IN 47401.
Funeral services will be at 1pm at the church with Pastor Tom Rhodes officiating. Burial to follow at Knightridge Cemetery.
