I knew Cole for a mere four days. In those four days, I saw a bright, athletic, and funny kid who enjoyed making others smile. He spent his breaks from schoolwork with my five grandchildren. Within 10 minutes of meeting them, he was giving the little ones piggyback rides around the garden, jumping on the trampoline with them, teaching them to catch frogs and crawdads, and in general just playing and having fun with them. They fell in love with him the very first day. They are very sad to know he has gone, but they all said that they were glad they got those four days to play with him because at least they have the memories of him.
