Obituary for Timothy Jared Crafton
Timothy Jared Crafton “Jared”, 43, of Bedford, passed away peacefully Monday, August 23, 2021, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
Born February 8, 1978 in Monroe County, he was the son of Timothy Mark Crafton and Suzanne Groh. He married Melissa Quintana on October 31, 2014 and she survives. Jared worked for Mann Plumbing as a Journeyman Plumber and he was so proud of his work. He never met a stranger.
Survivors include his wife, Melissa of Bedford; son, Timothy Jaydon (Baylee) Crafton of Bloomington; two daughters, Savannah Crafton of Bloomington and Madison Crafton of Bedford; step-son, Hunter Coyle of Bedford; grandson, Raiden Crafton of Bloomington; mother, Suzanne Groh of Bloomington; three siblings, Ben (Tammy) Crafton, Staci (Chad) Jackson and Aaron Crafton; brother-in-law and best friend, Daniel Quintana; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Jared was preceded in death by his father, Timothy Mark Crafton; step-mother, Cheryl Crafton; paternal grandparents, Wilford “Red” and Elizabeth Crafton and maternal grandparents, Marvin and Audrey Groh.
Visitation for Jared will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Thursday, August 26, at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard, 3000 E. Third Street Bloomington, Indiana.
Funeral services will be at 10 A.M on Friday, August 27, at The Funeral Chapel, with burial to follow at Patton Hill Cemetery in Oolitic.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Society or Southern Care Hospice.
