Obituary for Janice Diekhoff
Janice Diekhoff, 83, of Bloomington, In. passed away on October 12, 2021 at the IU Health Hospice House with her family by her side.
She was born on November 17th, 1937 in Evansville Indiana to Raymond and Alberta (Lutz) Ulrich.
She married Donald J Diekhoff in 1958. They were married for 40 years until the time of his death in 1998.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Don, her daughter Laurie Ann Sylvester Lake, and her sister Sandy (Ulrich) Wright.
Janice is survived by her children Sherry Turpin (Rob), Mike Diekhoff (Mary Ellen), Tony Diekhoff (Shana), and Laurie’s husband Tim Lake, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, her sisters Patty (Ulrich)Willis and Debbie Ulrich, and many nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her dear friend Art Nelson.
Due to Covid, the family will have a private service.
The family wishes to thank all of her caregivers at Hearthstone Health Campus for their loving care for the last 3 years.
