Karen Marie Grigg, 72, Bloomington, Indiana, passed away Sunday, October 17, 2021 at IU Hospice House in Bloomington, Indiana. Karen was born on July 15, 1949 in Bedford, Indiana, the daughter of the late Lynn H. and Florence A. (Cathers) Banks.
Karen was a member of Sherwood Oaks Christian Church, attending the West Campus. She retired as an administrative assistant with First Insurance Group in Bloomington, Indiana.
Survivors: husband, Douglas S. Grigg of Bloomington, Indiana; two daughters, Kelli (Matt) Hoff of Bloomington, Indiana and Leslie (Jim) Batcho of Spencer, Indiana; four grandchildren, Kylie (Nick) Batcho of Gosport, Indiana, Evan Batcho of Spencer, Indiana, Elijah Hoff and Emma Hoff, both of Bloomington, Indiana; one great-grandchild, Bristol Freeman; two sisters, Nancy Ikerd of Bedford, Indiana and Linda Banks of Bloomington, Indiana; one brother, Lynn Banks of Martinsville, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard 3000 E. Third Street Bloomington, Indiana and from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Thursday at The Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p..m. Thursday, October 21, 2021 at The Funeral Chapel with John Robertson officiating. Burial will follow at Clear Creek Cemetery.
