Obituary for Zachary David Allam

Zachary David Allam, born in Bloomington on December 21, 1993, passed away on Friday, October 22, 2021. Zach was 27 years old.

Zach was a Journeyman Electrician at Indiana University. Everyone who knew Zach knew that he loved baseball. His passion for the sport started in tee-ball, through high school at Edgewood and at Webster University. He loved it so much that he coached and umpired for many years after college. He was known for his infectious sense of humor, always being in a good mood and for giving the best hugs on Earth. But most of all, he loved his family.

Zach is survived by his Mother and Stepfather, Shannon and Jay Taylor, his Father, Mark Allam, Brother and Sister-in-Law, Tyler and Jenna Allam, his Nephew, Walker Allam, his Grandparents, Arlene Byers, Janet and Bill Price, Rita and Arlie Taylor, and Great Grandmother, Anise Osborne, plus many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who all loved him dearly.

Zach was preceded in death by his Grandfathers, Larry Byers and Dick Allam, and Great Grandfather, Pete Osborne.

Visitation will be on Saturday, October 30, from 3 -7 pm at The Funeral Chapel in Bloomington. Private family graveside services will be held at a later date.
