Obituary for Noah David Calkins
Noah David Calkins, 24, of Hobbieville passed away unexpectedly on Monday, November 1, 2021. Noah was born January 6, 1997 in Bloomington and was the son of Bruce and Lisa (Patton) Calkins.
Noah was a 2015 graduate of Eastern Greene High School where he played football. He worked as a Sawyer for TexaCon Stone Company. Noah enjoyed video games, puzzles, word games, and music.
Noah is survived by his parents, Bruce and Lisa Calkins; siblings, Rachel Calkins and Ash Calkins; grandfather, Terry Dale Summitt; cousin, Gabriel Patton; and his beloved cat Tommy Chong, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Noah was preceded in death by his brother, Blake Calkins; and grandmother Linda “Gree” Summitt, Fritzi the dog and Susie the cat.
Noah always made everyone laugh and will be missed by all.
Visitation for Noah will be on Sunday, November 7, 2021 from 2-6 pm and from 11 am until 1 pm on Monday, November 8, 2021 at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard.
Services will be 1 pm Monday at the funeral home with burial following at Clover Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations in Noah’s memory may be given to the Monroe County Humane Association.
