Cynthia “Cindy” Hawkins, 72, of Bloomington, passed away peacefully December 14, 2021 at Bell Trace Health and Living. Born December 3, 1949, Cynthia was the daughter of Ralph and Agnes (Brown) Stephens. Cindy was a Unionville High School graduate. She happily married the love of her life, Ellis Hawkins, in 2000. Cynthia was an avid fisherman, and loved to be out on the boat and on the lake fishing.
Survivors include her husband, Ellis Hawkins; sons, Richard, Scott, and Jerry Isom; step-daughter, Melinda Hawkins; 7 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Sarah (Terry) Styborski, and Theresa Stephens Lampkins; several nieces and nephews.
Cynthia is preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Betty Stephens-Wampler, Peggy Stephens- Grubb and Connie Stephens-Croll, and brother Roger Stephens.
Services will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard.
