Patty J. Moore, age 74, of Martinsville, Indiana passed away at IU Health Hospice House in Bloomington on Monday, January 31, 2022. She was born in Bedford, Indiana on October 19, 1947 to William and Vivian (Goen) Harrison. Patty was a correctional officer for twenty years. She enjoyed playing slot machines, reading her Bible, collecting jewelry, and she enjoyed her job. Patty loved spending time with her mother, and helping others. She was a very caring person who enjoyed being with others.
Patty is survived by her husband, Keith Moore, son, Jason Banks (Cheryl), daughter, Krista White (Chaz Brown), grandchildren, Mariah, Alina, Arianna, D’Artagnan, Medea, Ashten, Mona, Peyton, Mila, Aris, and Kai, brothers, Rod and Fred Harrison, sister, Marie Harrison, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Patty was preceded in death by her parents, and sisters, Betty White and Carolyn Broughton.
Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard, 3000 E. Third Street Bloomington, Indiana.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, with burial to follow at Knight's of Pythias Cemetery.
