Thresa Eline Woods, age 89, of Bloomington, Indiana passed away at Hearthstone Health Campus on Sunday, February 20, 2022. She was born on January 5, 1933 in Bloomington to John and Dorothy (Mathis) Baxter. Thresa worked at RCA and then later retired from Duke Energy. She enjoyed square dancing and traveling with her husband, Bill. They loved Florida, and spent the lat 26 winters there.
Thresa is survived by her loving husband of 69 years, William “Bill” “Buck” Woods, children, Wendell Allen Woods and Delena Ann Woods-Murphy, daughter-in-law, Helen Woods, granddaughter, Melissa, niece, Judy, and nephew, Curtis.
Thresa was preceded in death by her son, Dwyane Lee Woods, parents, brother, Wesley Baxter, sister and brother-in-law, Naomi and Dale Kent.
Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday, February 24, 2022 at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard, 3000 E. Third Street Bloomington, Indiana.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM on Friday at The Funeral Chapel, with burial to follow at Duncan Cemetery. Pastor Bruce Bond will officiate.
