Obituary for Bamroung "Pam" Muessig
Bamroung “Pam” Muessig, age 73, of Bloomington, Indiana passed away at IU Health Bloomington Hospital on Wednesday, February 23, 2022. She was born on October12, 1948 in Bangkok, Thailand. She had twelve siblings.
Pam married Leon Hart, an American living in Thailand, and the two moved to Sacramento. Pam started working at Granny Goose Potato Chip Factory. After Leon’s passing, Pam moved in with her sister in Honolulu, Hawaii, where she met her second husband, Steve. They soon moved to Indiana, where Steve is from. They divorced a few years later, but Pam stayed in Indiana to live and work. She decided to sell her home, and move back to Thailand, before returning to Indiana in 2021.
Pam is survived by four sisters, Oi of London, Kanya of Hawaii, Lex of Germany, and Mel of Australia, seven nieces and nephews, and an abundance of grandchildren around the world who loved her unconditionally.
A celebration of life will be held from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM on Sunday, February 27, 2022 at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard, 3000 E. Third Street Bloomington, Indiana.
