Georginia “Jeannie” Hayes, 72, Bloomington, Indiana, passed away peacefully at her residence on Wednesday, March 9, 2022.
She was born on June 2, 1949 in Bloomington, Indiana, the daughter of Doris Marie (Spears) Thacker and Harold Guy Thacker.
Georginia retired from RCA in Bloomington, Indiana, loved to travel and was a great housekeeper and loved spending time with her kids and grandkids.
Survivors include her husband for over 50 years, Michael Hayes; children, Melisssa Hayes Laclair, Billie Jo Hayes, Mickey Hayes and Julie A. Hayes; sister, Vanessa Warden; grandchildren, Eric, Shay, Cole, Kaylee, Nick, and Chris; great-grandchildren, Maverick, Brentley, and Franny; mother-in-law, Joan Hayes, and her beloved canine fur-baby, Dewey.
She was preceded by her parents; brother Harold Ray “Buster” (Linda Lou) Thacker, Timmy, Randy and Scottie.
At her request there will be no services.
Arrangements have been entrusted to The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard.
