Bobby Lee Coker, Jr., age 43, of Bloomington, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at his residence. He was born on October 5, 1978 in Roswell, New Mexico. Bobby worked at Catalent Pharma Solutions in Bloomington. He was often seen in coveralls, and always smelled great due to his collection of cologne. Bobby loved music, and was a very talented musician. He could play any instrument that he picked up, mainly playing the bass guitar and saxophone. In high school he played in a band, wrestled, and played basketball. Bobby was the best uncle to his nieces and nephews. He was also a hard worker, who enjoyed taking walks, fishing, and adored spending time with his daughter, Brianna. Bobby’s big personality, great sense of humor, and big hugs will be missed deeply.
Bobby is survived by his daughter, Brianna Coker, life partner, Tammy Spencer, step-son, Garron Spencer, mother and step-father, Diana Lynn (Rod) Coker and Loran Weems, siblings, Bryan Coker (Amber Hammack), Jonathan Coker (Jenna Hamilton), Desiree Thompson (Jeff), Kambra Campbell (Cody), Kasey Cox (Kalin) and Kayla Rains (Clayton), nieces and nephews, Braylen Thompson, Mason, Gracie, and Amelia Campbell, Hannah, Haley, Hunter, and Harper Coker, Levi Cox, and Alaina and Logan Rains.
Bobby was preceded in death by his son, Elijah Coker, and grandmother, Dorothy Rod.
Visitation for Bobby will be from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM on Monday, April 4, 2022 at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard, 3000 E. Third Street Bloomington, Indiana.
Funeral services will be held at 5:00 PM at The Funeral Chapel, with Loran Weems officiating.
