Vicky Sue Bruhn, age 54, of Bloomington, Indiana passed away unexpectedly at IU Health Bloomington Hospital on Friday, April 1, 2022. She was born in Bloomington on November 27, 1967 to Donald W. Nichols and Lois E. (Horton) Bennett. Vicky enjoyed making crafts, baking cakes, and decorating for the holidays, especially Easter and Halloween. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and the rest of her family. She was kind, helpful, very thoughtful, and always there for others. Her care for others will be missed deeply.
Vicky is survived by her husband, love of her life and best friend of 34 years, Don Bruhn, step-sons, Bob and Dave Bruhn, grandchildren, Kylan, Kaiser, Kayana, Pheonix, Gabriel, Dresden, Louie, Bentley, and Xaiden, Sierra, Ashley, Savannah, Jordan, Juliannah, and Damien, great-grandchildren, Evalyn, Nolan, and Liam, brother, Doug Nichols, and sister, Helen “Sissy” Woods “Vicky was not only my baby sister, but my person. There was never a time that when I needed her, she wasn’t there.” Sister, Lori Meadows, who was also a precious sister and friend. Niece, Tara Jo, and nephews, Steven and Jeremiah Goodman.
Vicky was preceded in death by her daughter, Amber Bruhn, parents, grandchild, Baby David, and nephew, Travis Goodman.
