Obituary for Keith Hunt

Keith Foster Hunt, 72, passed away on April 21, 2022 at IU health Bloomington Hospital, surrounded by loving family. He was born May 29, 1949 to Charles Jack and Thelma Jean Hunt.
He was preceded in death by his father and his infant son Keith Foster Hunt Jr.
Keith was an extremely talented and prolific song writer. His gospel songs are sung around the world and will be touching hearts for generations to come. “Jesus Walked Through the Wall”, “ I’ve Seen Him Work Before”, “Call My Name” and hundreds more are beloved by many believers. “Let Me Tell You Who Jesus Is” is perhaps the unofficial anthem of the UPC.
Keith lived every day of his life pursuing his passions to the fullest, which included his ministry and music, his family, and golf. If he took an interest in it, he poured himself into it 110%.
Keith is survived by his wife of 50 years Dixie Lee (Langley) Hunt, mother Thelma Jean (Mobley) Hunt, two brothers Jonathan Lee Hunt (Joy), Steven Thomas Hunt (Lisa), two sisters Jaqueline Sue Hawkins (Don), Geraldine Lou Sciscoe (Keith) three daughters April Yvonne (Hunt)Vail, Victoria Lynn (Short) Earnhardt, and Veronica Lee (Short) Sipes and seven grandchildren. He had one great grandson, Kyler Ray Sipes.
A remembrance service is scheduled for 7pm on Monday, April 25 at the Apostolic Bible Church, 3291 S. walnut St. Pike, Bloomington, 47401. Visitation will be from 5-7pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Apostolic Bible Church.
