Obituary for Marty L. Thompson
Marty Thompson, age 27, of Odon, Indiana passed away in an accident on Sunday, April 24, 2022. He was born on March 3, 1995 in Bloomington, Indiana to Charles Allen and Sally (Abram) Thompson.
Marty enjoyed fishing, and playing video games and sports. He liked playing softball and loved playing football. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his two daughters. They were the light of his life.
Marty is survived by his daughters, Kyleigh Jean and Kinsley Rae Thompson of Bloomington, parents, Charles Allen and Sally Thompson of Bloomington, three sisters, Danielle Gonzalez, and Elizabeth and Amber Thompson of Bloomington, fiancé, Brianna Davis, several nephews and cousins, and several aunts and uncles.
Marty was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ray and Patricia Abram of Bloomington, and John Charles and Barbara Thompson of Crawfordsville, Indiana, and aunt, Vicki Thompson Lamson of Brookstone, Indiana.
Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM on Monday, May 2, 2022 at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard, 3000 E. Third Street Bloomington, Indiana.
Graveside services will be at 1:00 PM on Monday at Valhalla Memory Gardens, 310 N. Johnson Ave. Bloomington, Indiana.
