Obituary for Eulalia (Yale) Taylor

Eulalia (Yale) Taylor. 94, of Bloomington passed away Friday, May 6, 2022 peacefully at home with her loving family. She was born March 19, 1928 in Marion County. She was the daughter of the late Amos and Jessie (Goodwin) Bowman.

Yale graduated from Stinesville High School in 1947. She worked at RCA for 42 years as a relief tester and retired from RCA in 1990. She married Raymond Taylor in 1950, he preceded her in death in 1969. She was a dedicated mother who enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. In her free time you might find her browsing a yard sale, re-roofing her house and gardening.

Yale is survived by her daughter Myra (Terry) Sparks of Solsberry, IN, and her son Jerry (Kay) Taylor of Springfield, ILL; two grandchildren Tara (John Blount) Sparks of Goshen, IN, Lyndsey (Jason) Berrong of Rockport, IN; two great grandchildren Myles Sparks and Bella Berrong; sisters Joyce (Bill) Mingee, Donna (Gordon) Brown, and Shelda (Lonnie) Pingree; brothers, Larry (Ursula) Bowman and Gary Bowman.

She is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters Betty Webber and Amy M. Baker, a brother, Bill Bowman and an infant sister, Alice Bowman.

A family viewing at The Funeral Chapel in Bloomington will take place at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 11 for one hour preceding the graveside service at 1 pm at Liberty Church Cemetery near Gosport. Officiated by Chaplin Rick Clayton.
