Jeffery “Jeff” Leigh May, age 63, of Bloomington, Indiana passed away at IU Health Bloomington Hospital on Friday, June 3, 2022. Jeff was born in Bloomington on June 2, 1959 to Phillip and M. Helen (Sparks) May. Jeff enjoyed fishing and hunting, especially for quail, listening to country music, watching John Wayne movies, vacationing in Florida, and spending time in nature. Most of all, Jeff loved attending his grandchildren’s sporting events.
Jeff is survived by his children, Bryce May, Colton May, and Cahill May (Heather Richardson), father, Phillip May, grandchildren, Walker May, Devonte Brown, and Remeny Neal, brother, Reed May (Joann), nieces, Kayla Guthrie, Rylee May and Emme May.
Jeff was preceded in death by his mother, M. Helen May.
Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 and from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Thursday at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard, 3000 E. Third Street Bloomington, Indiana.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday at The Funeral Chapel, with burial to follow at Clear Creek Cemetery in Bloomington.
