Obituary for Mary Quinn Johnson
We are sad to announce the passing of Mary Quinn Johnson on June 19, 2022, at the age of 86. She was born in Bloomington, Indiana, on October 25, 1935, to Leon and Gretchen Brummett. Mary Quinn is preceded in death by her 3 brothers, Robert Brummett of Philadelphia, PA, Donald Brummett, and Ronald Brummett both of Bloomington IN. She is survived and loved by several nephews and nieces in the Philadelphia and Bloomington areas.
Mary Quinn was a veteran of the USAF and served overseas in Japan. After serving in the Air Force she worked in the hotel and restaurant industry primarily working for Stouffers Hotel as an accountant for over 30 years. She enjoyed traveling to foreign lands, card games with the family, and a good batch of fried mushrooms, but her greatest passion was NASCAR. She also enjoyed volunteering at the Opportunity House for over a decade.
There will be no formal service per the request of our loved one. Mary Quinn wishes to spend eternity in the beautiful hillside of Brown County, Indiana, where her ashes will be spread at a later date.
